Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp for Final Year students of Biotechnology, Electronics & Communication Engg & Electrical & Electronics Engg, NMAMIT

Entrepreneurship Development Cell, NMAMIT organized Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp for Final Year students of Biotechnology, Electronics & Communication Engg & Electrical & Electronics Engg, NMAMIT, Nitte on 12th August, 2017. 250 students attended the programme. The Camp started with the invocation by Ms. Ramya, Ms. Raksha, Ms. Swathi & Ms. Sneha, Final year EEE Students. Dr. Balasubramani R, Chief Project Leader, EDC welcomed the gathering and briefed about the programme. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Chief Guest Sri. Dayananda Patwardhan, Proprietor, MOSQUIT, Mundaje, Belthangady Mr. Gajanana Vaze, Agriculturist, Mundaje, Belthangady, Dr. C Vaman Rao,, Head of BT, Dr. Nagesh Prabhu, Head of EEE and Dr. Rekha Bhandarkar, Head of ECE, NMAMIT, Nitte were the Guests of Honor. Dr. Niranjan N Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAMIT, Nitte presided over the function and delivered presidential address. In his presidential remarks asked the students to get the maximum benefits from these programmes. Ms. Shravya & Ms. Natasha, Final year EEE Students performed Master of Ceremony. Mrs. Geetha, coordinated the programme. Prof. Sudharshan Rao, Asst. Professor, Department of ECE proposed vote of thanks.









In the first session, Sri. Dayananda Patwardhan, Proprietor, MOSQUIT, Mundaje, Belthangady Mr. Gajanana Vaze, Agriculturist, Mundaje, Belthangady, explained their experiments with the students. In the second session, Sri Prajwal V Kumar shared his business experience and by showing the video he explained his real challenges and problems he faced to become a successful entrepreneur. In the third session, Mr. Sundar Sherigara. Asst. Director, MSME, Mangalore highlghted on various support and financial assistance from Govt. agencies, banks, and financial institutions. Also, he briefed about identification of business opportunities, project selection, project report preparation, project appraisal, technical & financial feasibility and evaluation. The programme concluded with Valedictory Function. In the afternoon, students went for Factory visit to Bola Surendra Kamth & Sons Cashew factory. Mr. Rajesh Kamath & his team explained various operations of the unit. The programme concluded with Valedictory Function.
