Rendezvous an annual inter-collegiate event started in 2004 and has seen the participation of hundreds of students from different colleges across Karnataka state. The event was hosted for PUC and Degree students from in and around Mangalore on the 9th of August 2017. A total of 28 colleges participated in the event; 19 Degree colleges and 9 PU colleges. MAPS College Mangalore emerged as the Overall Winners in the Degree Level and St. Agnes P U College as the Overall Winners in the PU Section.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Hisrar Tallani, founder and CMD of Hisrar Events and Celebrations. In the morning session the events conducted were Best Manager, Treasure Hunt, Flower Arrangement, Face Painting, Clash of Chaats and Clash of Chefs, Cocktail & Mocktail Making, and in the afternoon session Mad Ads, Photography, Free Lancing, A minute to Win It for both the Degree & PUC level.
The Valedictory function was presided by Mr. P. Sridar, Divisional Forest Officer, Mangalore, he appreciated the students for organizing the event and distributed the prizes to the winners.
Besides participating in various competitions, the participants along with other invitees also enjoyed the hospitality offered by the Sihaites. The 3rd-semester BHM students prepared & served a variety of delicious food items and snacks on the day.
The event was a total success and this would not have been possible without the help of our lecturers and our Staff Coordinator Mr. Donald D’Souza and Student Coordinator Mr. Puneeth Shetty.
