NSS Unit of NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan as a part of Swachhata Pakhwada programme of Government of India on 14th August 2017 at the institutional campus and herbal garden at Paneer Campus. The programme started at 11.45 am. Prof. Dr. C. S. Shatry, Principal, NGSMIPS has initiated the programme. Principal informed the new NSS volunteers about the National Service Scheme and motivated students to carry out swachhata abhiyaan frequently which is required to make new clean India. All the NSS volunteers then started cleaning the adjacent area of institute campus and the area inside the herbal garden. NSS programme officer of the institute, member of NSS unit of institute and other teaching and non-teaching staff members also join the programme. Swachhata Abhiyaan was carried out for an hour which was followed by refreshments for all participants.
