The Alumni Association of NUINS instituted “My Tree Project”, a year-long activity with the objective to plant a sapling on the birthday of the alumni members and developing an ecosystem wherein the member proactively adopts a tree and nurtures it. This project was inaugurated on 11th June 2019 by Mrs. Latha S, senior alumni planting a sapling in the college campus. Dr. Fatima D’ silva, Principal & Prof. Sabitha Nayak, Vice Principal, NUINS initiated the project. Mrs Cleeta Pinto, Secretary - Alumni Association, members of the alumni association, teaching and non teaching staff were present.
