News from Dr. N.S.A.M PU College, Mangaluru | Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

“A student's association with an institute does not end as soon as he completes his studies in that institution. The values learnt at the college reflect in one’s personality", said U T Khader, MLA, Ullal constituency while inaugurating the beach cleaning program organised under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Someshwar beach by the Alumni Association of Dr NSAM PU College, Mangaluru on 3rd October 2021.

In his speech, he emphasized that cleanliness is the foundation of a healthy society and the concern shown by the Old Students Association is worth emulating.

Sub Inspector of Police, Ullal police station, Pradeep was the Guest of Honor. In his address, he said that cleanliness should become a daily practice and one has the responsibility to ensure cleanliness of one's surroundings and also of water.

Principal Dr Naveen Shetty K in his presidential address called upon a nationwide mission to build a healthy and clean society. 

Ms Sangeetha Shetty, Ms Veena, Ms Geetha and Ms Vidyarani, Committee Members of the Old Students Association were present on the occasion.

Mr Kiran, President of the Alumni Association welcomed the gathering, while alumna Ms Bindya proposed the vote of thanks. 

Both members of the Alumni Association and staff participated in the beach cleaning.
