The Department of Anatomy organized a CME / Symposium, "Recent Advances in Medical Teaching" on 23rd March, 2018 at Hall No. 5 of K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore.
Dr. Balasubramanyam V, HoD of Anatomy, St John's Medical College, Bangalore spoke on “Current trends in Medical Education & Implementation in current educational scenario”. Dr. Devan, HoD of ENT, Vice Dean, AJIMS, Mangalore delivered a lecture on “Medical teaching – the cutting edge of science”.
Dr. Martin Lucas, HoD of Anatomy, KSHEMA, Organizing Secretary delivered a lecture on “Silicone moulds and cast in medical teaching” and also gave a demonstration in the afternoon. The CME emphasized on e-learning awareness modules for medical and health care faculty and also benefits of silicone moulds for better understanding of the subject.
