A one-day state level Workshop on ‘Assessment, Resuscitation and Stabilization of children’ was organized by the Department of Child Health Nursing, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences, on 18th January, 2019 at ‘CHINTHANA’, II Floor, Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital, Deralakatte. Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Rai, HoD, Paediatric Surgery, KSHEMA was the Chief Guest of the program. He explained the significance of a healthy nurse-patient relationship in paediatric care settings. Mrs. Shanthi S, Assoc. Professor, Lakshmi Memorial College of Nursing was the Karnataka Nursing Council Observer for the one-day workshop. The lecture sessions started at 10 am and proceeded till 1 pm with hands-on training in the skill lab from 2 to 4 pm. 184 delegates from different colleges in Mangalore participated in the workshop.
