Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences organized an Inter Collegiate Football Tournament from 29th to 31st January 2020 at Nitte Grounds, Deralakatte Campus.
Students from constituent colleges of NitteDU participated in this tournament.
Dr. Muralikrishna V, Sports Advisor NitteDU inaugurated the tournament and Prof (Dr) Sabitha Nayak, Vice Principal, NUINS presided over the function. The first prize was bagged by Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences and the second prize by K.S. Hegde Medical Academy.
Mr. Ashique (KSHEMA) received the Best Goal Keeper award, and Mr. Tenzin Lhakpa (NUINS) received the Top Scorer award and also the award for Best All Rounder of the Tournament.
Mr. Karunakar Shetty (P.E.D), KSHEMA, Ms. Bhagya (P.E.D), NUINS, and Ms. Gincy Lecturer, NUINS, felicitated the winners with Trophies, Medals and Certificates.
