REPORT OF THE LAMP LIGHTING CEREMONY

The lamp lighting ceremony of 22^nd batch of B.Sc.(N) and Diploma students was held on 18^th of November 2013. The chief guest was Mrs. Jasmine Vas Principal, Fr.Muller School of Nursing, Kankanady , Mangalore. The function began at 10.00 am with the procession of 1^st year students. Ms. Roshni and group of 3^rd year B.Sc.(N) invoked God’s blessings. . On this occasion Mrs. Cleeta Pinto Principal, School of Nursing welcomed the gathering. Significance of the day was explained by Ms. Nithya, 3^rd year B.Sc.(N) student. The students were led into the profession with their lamps lit by the dignitaries. Mrs. Shynee Paul, P.G.Co-ordinator carried over the oath taking ceremony. Then the former SNA advisor Mrs. Shynee Paul along with the president Ms. Melisha and the other office bearers of SNA of the year 2012-13, as the fruit of their hard work, launched the SNA bulletin “SVASTI-2012-13” and released by the chief guest along with the dignitaries on the dais. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Sunanda. B, Co-ordinator of 1^st year B.Sc.(N) followed by Refreshment for the staffs and the students. The programme came to an end at 11.00 am. The Master of the ceremony were Ms.Reshma and Ms.Mehena of 3^rd year B.Sc. (N).
