Health education and awareness programme on Malaria - Kshema

A health education and awareness programme on Malaria was organised by Department of Community Medicine, K.S.Hegde Medical Academy, N.S.S of Vijaya College Mulky and youth club of Mulky, in association with Jilla panchayath of Mulky in Vijaya College Mulky on 22/08/2014

Dr.Rashmi  Assocaite professor, department of community Medicine KSHEMA was the resource person who spoke on Malaria awareness and prevention by general public. There were around 300 students of Vijaya College who attended the programme and participated in it. An test of knowledge was also conducted by the intern Dr.Pallavi.

The programme was organised by Mr. Harsharaj and Mr. Santhosh N P of the department of Community Medicine.

There was overwhelming response from the lecturers and the students about the programme.
