KSHEMA Volunteers to SNEHALAYA

A Visit by the KSHEMA Volunteers to SNEHALAYA - Mission hope , an initiative encompassing charitable and awarness events organised by KSHEMA students was launched on Jan 16th 2016.

Under this initiative of Mission Hope launched on 16th January 2016 Students of KSHEMA embarked on a charitable journey, called the BOX OF HOPE, through which they support and strengthen those who are less fortunate by collecting a number of articles such as clothes , school books, toys footwear etc from staff, undergraduates, and post graduate students. Contributions were made from other colleges as well namely father Mullers medical college and Yenapoya Medical college.



As a part of this initiative, 50 Mission Hope Volunteers visited Snehalaya Rehabilitation Center and Old age home on 30th of April 2016. The students spend some quality time with the residents and a part of the contributions from box of hope was handed over to the residents .Various entertainment programs were organised by the students like magic show, singing and dance performances.
