Doctor's Day was celebrated on 1st July 2016 at K.S.Hegde Charitable Hospital, Deralakatte. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bandary, Dean, KSHEMA welcomed the gathering. Dr.M.Shantharama Shetty, Pro-Chancellor, Nitte University and Dr.S.Ramananda Shetty, Vice Chancellor, Nitte University were the chief guests for the programme.
Three of the well known Senior Doctors Dr.K. B. Pawar from Sirsi, Dr. K.Sarweshwara Bhat from Kumble and Dr. B.Vittaldas D. Shetty, Bantwal were felicitated on this occasion for their long standing service to the society. Dr.A.M.Mirajkar, Dr.P.S.Prakash, Dr.Jayaprakash Shetty, Dr.Karuna Rameshkumar and Dr.Shiva Kumar Hirematt were present on this occasion.
