Nitte (Deemed-to-be University) organized the Inter-collegiate Throw Ball Tournament on 16th March, 2018 at Paneer grounds, Deralakatte, Mangalore.
Prof. (Dr.) Fatima D’silva, Principal, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences was the Chief Guest. The students from the constituent colleges of Nitte University participated in this tournament. The first prize was bagged by the students of Nitte Gulabi Shetty Memorial Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the second place by K.S. Hegde Medical Academy. The Best -Thrower award was bagged by Ms. Ashwitha from NGSMIPS and the Best-Receiver award by Dr. Chandana, KSHEMA. Ms. Shreya, NGSMIPS was declared the All Rounder of the Tournament.
The winners were felicitated with trophies, medals and certificates by Mr. Jince V Jhon, Sports co-ordinator, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences.
