The fourth batch of Master of Public Health (MPH) students from Nitte (Deemed to be University) visited the Summer Institute at University of Minnesota, School of Public Health.
Three students - Dixit Sunila Sanjay, Laimayum Nivedita Devi, Sugandha B.K - are participating in the three week program which began on May 21st 2018 and will continue until June 9th 2018. These students get global exposure in the field of public health where they get to study topics like additional capacity building, writing competitive grant proposals, project management, global food systems and use of technology in public health practice. Additional credits are given to these students as part of the MOU.
Nitte University has a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Minnesota for student exchange programs where students from Nitte visit Minnesota in summer and students from Minnesota visit Mangaluru in winter.
