Graduation Day 2018 - NMAMIT

The 10th Graduation Day ceremony of NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte, Karkala was held at the institute premises on 7th July 2018.

Dr. K Chidananda Gowda, Former Vice Chancellor of Kuvempu University was the Chief guest of the function. In his graduation day address, Dr. Gowda, emphasized on 20 engineering achievements that have had the greatest impact on quality of life in the 20th century and spoke about the technological trends and implications in 21st century. He wished the graduates professional success & happiness, to enable them to contribute to the creation of wealth and value-based technological development in society. Sri. N Vinaya Hegde, President, Nitte Education Trust & Chancellor of Nitte University presided over the function. In his presidential address, he congratulated the graduates on becoming professionals and urged them to do justice to their profession.

Graduates who passed out during the academic year 2017-18 received their graduation certificates during the occasion. Gold and Silver medals were awarded to the following students:

Gold Medallists: Dr. Parameswaran, Director of Industry Institute Collaboration; Dr. Subramanya Bhat, Dean, Student Welfare and Heads of various departments were present during the event.

Vice Principal & Dean (Academics), Dr. I.R Mithanthaya read out the names of gold and silver medallists. Dr. Muralidhara, PG Coordinator read out the names of M.Tech graduates. Dr. Karuna Pandith, Professor, Dept. of MCA read out the names of MCA graduates. Vice Principal and Controller of Examinations, Dr. Srinivas Rao BR proposed the Vote of thanks. Mr. Shashank Shetty, Asst. Professor from the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering was the Master of Ceremony.
