He was addressing the students of Business Management, Trainees (MSME-SIDBI Sponsored) and faculty after inaugurating the Professional Management Development Program at Justice K. S. Hegde Institute of Management on 29th October 2018. He said the Institute's activities should be in consonance with its mission and vision statements. This is needed in delivering true value to stakeholders, he added.
Dr. N. K. Thingalaya, Chairman. Academic Council, called upon budding managers to create employment opportunities for the future generation by becoming entrepreneurs. Dr. K Sankaran, Director of the Institute in his Presidential address said reflective and critical ways of looking at the world is essential for management students.
Dr. A N. Parameswaran, Director, Industry–Institute Interaction and Coordinator, Nitte Education Trust, Dr. N. S. Shetty, Professor Emeritus were present. Dr. A. P. Achar, Dean, Corporate Programs briefed the gathering about the activities of the Training Program. Dr. Sudhir Raj K, Professor, JKSHIM, coordinated the program.
