NUCSER Ph.D. Scholar wins at Anveshan-student research convention

Ms. Srividya from the Division of Molecular Genetics and Cancer, NUCSER has won the third prize in the Health Science category at the Zonal Convention of South Zone Universities held at VIGNAN'S (Deemed to be University) Guntur, Andhra Pradesh from 22nd to 23rd February 2019. Srividya is working on development of novel DNA based techniques for detection of gene mutations that interfere with targeted therapy in lung cancer under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Anirban Chakraborty. With this win, she has now qualified to represent Nitte (Deemed to be University) at the National Level Anveshan 2019 to be held at Ganpat University, Gujarat from 12th to 14th March, 2019. NUCSER congratulates Srividya on her noteworthy achievement and wishes her all success at the national level convention.
