Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy participated in Ramakrishna Mission’s “Mangaluru Swachhata Abhiyana” - 5th phase Shramadana on 3rd March 2019. A total of 45 students along with two faculty members, Prof. (Dr.) Dhanesh Kumar K.U. & Mr. Krishnaprasad participated actively in the event at Falnir, Mangalore.
Prof. (Dr.) Dhanesh Kumar KU, Principal, Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy addressed the volunteers and flagged off the event in front of Indira Hospital. He explained the power of youth that can transform a country and urged the student volunteers to work towards the betterment of India. He further added that this kind of voluntary service are small opportunities to serve the nation. The program included cleaning of the premises and creating awareness on cleanliness and hygiene among the public.
