The gathering was welcomed by the Principal, Prof. Dr. Dhanesh Kumar K. U. He explained the meaning of 'KALANJALI' and stressed on the importance of participating in cultural events.
The chief guest Prof. Dr. Mahabalesh Shetty, HoD, Forensic Medicine, K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. He delivered an inspiring speech and advised students to develop communication skills along with academic skills. He further briefed on how participation in cultural and sports activities can help students build interpersonal relationships and resilience to face failures. The inaugural program was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Purshotham Chippala, Associate Professor, NIPT. Ms. Joana of 4th BPT was the Master of Ceremony. Dr. Rashmitha A.P, Cultural Chairperson & Ms. Arpitha Shetty, Cultural Secretary coordinated the event.
