The inauguration of the Nitte - Sakura Science forum - Nitte (Deemed to be University)

The inauguration of the Nitte - Sakura Science forum was held on 6th December 2019 at Chintana Hall. Sri. N Vinaya Hegde, Honourable Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University) was the Chief Guest. He inaugurated the forum and released the Nitte-Sakura Bulletin which would continue to highlight the future activities of the forum. Dr. Harish Madhyastha, Department of Applied Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Miyazaki, Japan was the Guest of Honour. He appreciated the mutual exchange of ideas between University of Miyazaki and the constituent colleges of NitteDU and wished the University, positions itself among the top research driven Universities of India. Dr. M Shantharam Shetty Pro Chancellor and Dr. Moodithaya Pro Vice Chancellor were the other dignitaries present. Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary Vice Chancellor presided over the function. On this occasion Dr. Harish Madhyastha was felicitated for the significant achievements he had to his credit and for his immense contribution to the University through Japan Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science. Dr. Fatima D Silva Chairperson Nitte-Sakura Science Forum welcomed the gathering and Dr. Suchetha Kumari N Member Secretary delivered the Vote of thanks. Mrs. Shilpa S Shetty anchored the program.
