With a motive to spread awareness against tobacco use and its ill effect on health, the staff and students of the NSS Unit at Dr. NSAM PU College, Mangaluru took a pledge not to consume tobacco.
Principal Dr. Naveen Shetty K in his presidential address briefed the students about the ill effects of tobacco consumption. The move would also help students to persuade their parents, who are addicted to tobacco, to shun the habit.
