News from NUINS | A Seminar on Management of Pediatric Behavioural & Social Problems

A Seminar on Management of Pediatric Behavioural & Social Problems was organized by the Child Health Nursing Department, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences, at the University Auditorium, Paneer on 25-10-2021.

Ms. Jeevitha Alva delivered the welcome address, introduced of the speakers and explained the objectives of the seminar. The first session on the topic, ‘Management of Psychiatric Problems’ was delivered by Dr. Arun Bhat, Asst Professor, Dept. of Psychiatry, KSHEMA which was followed by a short tea break.

The second session on the topic, ‘Management of common behavioural disorders’ was delivered by Dr. Rashmi, Dept. of Psychiatry, KSHEMA and the last session on ‘Management of mentally, physically and socially challenged children’ was conducted by Ms. Agneita Aiman, Lecturer/Psychiatric Social Worker, Dept. of Psychiatry, KSHEMA.

Prof. Sujatha R and Ms. Jeevitha Alva presented the Certificates of Appreciation to the resource persons. Ms. Shivaleela P Upashe, Assoc. Professor delivered the vote of thanks.
