News from NUINS | Training to develop E-learning Module

A training program to develop E-learning module was held for the 2nd batch of teaching faculty of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences on 1st, 9th & 21st October 2021, from 9.00 a.m to 12 noon at NUINS Learning Centre. 18 faculty members took active part in the workshop.

Prof. Dr. Jacintha Veigas, Program Coordinator welcomed the gathering. Mr. Sukesh Shetty, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Mental Health Nursing was the resource person.

Theoretical knowledge was shared and hands-on experience was provided to prepare E-learning module plan and select appropriate resources. Six plans were presented by the faculty. The plans were discussed among the peers and validated by the Resource Person. The validated plans were uploaded to the portal. Ten faculty members were fully trained and were eligible for certification.

The training helped the participants to have an insight into the concept of preparing an E-learning module and provided hands-on experience of preparing a module. The participants acknowledged that the training program was well-organized, informative, and useful. The confidence level of the participants was noticeably high at the conclusion of the program as compared to prior to the training.
