The Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, ABSMIDS organized a free dental screening camp at the Government Primary School, Inoli on 19.08.2023.
5 doctors (4 postgraduates and 1 faculty) and 4 interns were assigned to the screening zones and oral health check-ups were done.
Postgraduates educated the school students on the importance of oral health and emphasized the need for regular dental check-ups. Further, the students were also given instructions on maintaining a non-cariogenic diet.
A total of 66 students were screened at the camp. The students who required treatment were given a consent form and instructed to report to the Dental College or the nearest Rural Centre with the referral form.
Sterilization and disinfection protocols were maintained.
