The Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, ABSMIDS organized another free dental screening & treatment camp at the Govt. Primary High School, Inoli on 26.08.2023.
Dr Prajna Nayak coordinated with the school staff to set up the treatment zones in the space provided. 3 postgraduates and 1 faculty conducted the oral health check-ups.
16 students were treated at the camp. Each student was provided with instructions and further guidance on other treatments that were required. Those who needed further treatment were advised to report to ABSMIDS with the referral form provided to them. Sterilization and disinfection protocols were maintained.
The postgraduates distributed free toothpaste samples to the students. Dr. Prajna P Nayak explained the importance of oral health awareness and the necessity to maintain a non-cariogenic diet.
