NRAM Polytechnic, Nitte organised the Alumni Meet on 12th August 2023 at Nitte Campus. Around 550 alumni participated in this event.
Sri. Vinaya Hegde, President, Nitte Education Trust & Chancellor, Nitte Deemed to be University inaugurated the function. Sri Prashanth Kumar K, Principal, NRAM Polytechnic; Sri Yogeesh Hegde, Director, Campus Maintenance & Development; Sri Prasanna Kailaje, Director Alumni Relations and Smt. Dhanalaxmi Pai, HoD ADFT and President of Alumni Association, NRAM Polytechnic graced the function.
In his inaugural address, Sri Vinaya Hegde remembered his parents and their influence in starting the educational institutions in his native village, Nitte. He mentioned that the institutions have grown today and are spread over 3 campuses at Bangalore, Mangalore & Nitte.
Sri. Harish Prabhu, E&E 1984 batch, Sri. Jayaprakash, E&C 1984 batch, Sri. Sukesh N Rao, Mechanical 1984 batch and Sri. Prashanth Shetty, Mechanical 2003 batch, recalled the memories of college life and thanked the management and staff for their encouragement and support.
