Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy conducted a 2-day hands-on workshop titled ‘Prepare, Birth and Care’ on 23rd & 24th November 2023 at Chintana Hall, KS Hegde Charitable Hospital.
Dr. Sudini Sinai Borkar, Senior Physiotherapist (specialised in OB&G) was the resource person for the workshop.
Dr. Dhanesh Kumar KU , Principal welcomed the gathering. Chief guest Prof. (Dr) Prasanna Kumar Shetty, Dept. of OBG & Incharge of KSHEMA IVF, Centre highlighted the importance of physiotherapy in antenatal and postnatal patients.
Ms. Sunjyoth, (alumna of MPT 2015 & BPT 2010 batch) Asst. Professor, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, was the Guest of Honour.
Ms. Neha Shetty coordinated the event and delivered the vote of thanks. There were over 50 participants from Dayananda Sagar University, KMC Mangalore and Yenepoya University.
