Adhyetha, the Alumni Association of NUCSER, organized an Alumni Meet (Milan 2023) on 3rd November 2023 at Hotel Deepa Comforts. About 47 alumni attended the gathering and reconnected with their fellow batchmates.
Mr. Prasanna Kailaje, Director (Student Welfare & Alumni Relations), Nitte DU graced the occasion as the Chief guest. His insightful address resonated with the alumni present. Prof Dr. Anirban Chakraborty, Director, NUCSER delivered a heartfelt address, emphasizing the institution’s growth. Ms. Sujitha Felicitus, Secretary, Alumni Committee hosted the program by skilfully guiding the proceedings of the event. Dr. Mamatha BS, Coordinator, Alumni Committee welcomed the gathering, setting the tone for an evening of reflection and joy. Ms. Varsha Shetty President, Alumni Committee expressed gratitude to all the attendees, speakers, sponsors and organizers for making the event a great success. Ms. Pooja Rao, MC for the informal program, added a dynamic touch by conducting various games & activities, fostering interaction and laughter among the audience.
On this occasion, a token of appreciation was handed over as a memento to the alumni. The event’s musical ambience was enhanced by the DJ (sponsored by PhD scholars of NUCSER), creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere. Ms. Sarika, alumna sponsored the decorations which transformed the venue into a captivating space. A merge of collection of old photos from the alumni was displayed on a projector for everyone to reminisce and enjoy. The alumni who could not attend the program in person, contributed by sending a gesture of appreciation through a note that was displayed on the screen. The union concluded with a dinner and a baila.
Milan 2023 was a grand success, bringing together alumni from different walks of life to celebrate their shared history & accomplishments. The combination of insightful speeches, engaging activities and lively atmosphere created an unforgettable experience. The event not only strengthened the bond between the institution and its graduates but also paved way for future alumni engagements. As everyone departed with smiles and fond memories, it was evident that the evening had successfully rekindled the spirit of unity and pride among the alumni community.
