College day celebration was organized by the Medical
College on 21st September 2013. Shri N.V.Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte
University presided over the function. Dr.Shantharam Shetty, Pro
Chancellor, Nitte University and Dr.S.Ramananda Shetty, Vice Chancellor,
Nitte University were the guests of honor.
The Former Senior faculty of KSHEMA Dr. Vijayadevi
Mathur, Head of the department of Physiology, Dr.Sundara Devi, Head of
the department of Biochemistry, Dr.Rajarajeshwari, Head of the
department of Anatomy and Dr. Lakshman Pai, Head of the department of
Forensic Medicine were felicitated on the occasion.
The Grama Kshema project, a program
initiated by the college for introducing the young doctors to rural
health care was launched on this occasion.
