to the organisation - Key for a successful career” - Ms Subhalaksmi
Panse, CMD Allahabad Bank said while addressing the newly recruited
SWOs, undergoing training at Nitte Institute of Banking and Finance. The
month long training program conducted for the newly recruited SWOs is
being attended by about 160 employees from different part of the
country. Addressing the participants Ms Subhalakshmi Panse called upon
the participants to provide the best services to the customers and take
the 149 year old Bank to greater heights. She also highlighted the need
of basic training to the new entrants and lauded the contribution &
role of Nitte Institute of Banking & Finance.
Speaking
further she advised the participants to be customer centric always and
keep themselves updated on developments in Banking Industry. She opined
that the Banking Industry offers best employment and career
opportunities and those with positive attitude and sound knowledge will
reach the top.

N K Thingalaya former Chairman and Managing Director Syndicate Bank who
was present on the occasion talked about the great contribution of the
undivided Dakshina Kannada district to the Banking Industry. The
district has given birth to four Leading Public sector Banks and one
Private sector bank and termed the district as Bankers Kaashi

M S Moodithaya Director, Nitte Institute of Banking and Finance,
welcomed the guests and spoke about employment opportunities in the
banking sector and the role of Nitte Institute of Banking and Finance in
providing the necessary training to Bankers. Dr N S Shetty former UNDP
consultant and senior officials of Allahabad Bank were present on the
occasion. Shri K R Nayak compered the program and proposed vote of
thanks.
