The Department of Radiology organized a CME / Symposium, "MUSCULOSKELETAL IMAGING UPDATE" on 22-05-2016 at K.S.Hegde Hospital, Seminar Hall, 2nd Floor, OPD Block.
Following eminent speakers were invited: Dr.P.Balakrishna Shetty,President IRIA Karnataka State Chapter 2016-17,Prof & HOD Department of Radiology,Sri Siddhartha medical college,Tumkur. Dr.Anand Venugopal,Prof,Department of Radiology,KMC,Mangalore. Dr.Rajgopal K.V,Prof & HOD Department of Radiology,KMC,Manipal. Dr.Keerthiraj B,Consultant Neuro and Interventional radiologist,Department of radiology,KMC,Mangalore.
Scientific sessions were held on the following topics: MRI of shoulder, Approach to bone tumours, MRI of Bone marrow, MRI of Ankle, MRI of knee, Ultrasound guided Musculoskeletal Intervention, Image guided MSK intervention(other than USG). Valedictory function was presided by Dr. Raghuraj, Associate Professor, Department of Radiology, KSHEMA.Approximately 200 delegates attended the CME.
