Orientation Day Program at A.B.Shetty Dental College - ABSMIDS

The 32nd Orientation Day for the newly joined Batch of BDS was organized by A.B.Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences on Monday, 19th September 2016. Prof.(Dr.) U.S.Krishna Nayak, Principal and Dean welcomed the gathering and introduced the Heads of different Dental and Medical Departments. Sri N V Hegde, Chancellor, Nitte University was the guest of honor and emphasized the importance of Education and the nobleness of the profession. Prof.(Dr.) S Ramananda Shetty, Vice Chancellor, Nitte University emphasized the importance of Clinical Excellence apart from excelling in Academics. Prof. (Dr.) N Sridhar Shetty, Former Dean and Director, CADSS insisted the importance of ethical and moral values. Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Prasad, Director, PG Studies, Prof.(Dr.) Mithra Hedge, Vice Principal, Prof.(Dr.) Priyadarshini Hegde, Dean Students welfare, Other Dignitaries from Nitte University were also present. The program was well attended by Heads and Staff of various Dental and Medical Departments and parents of newly joined Batch Students.
