The world Alzheimer’s day 2016 was observed by the department of Mental Health Nursing in Devinagara anganawadi premises, Thalapady, Mangaluru on 28th September 2016. Assoc. Prof. Mrs Nalini M, HOD department of Mental Health Nursing presided over the programme. Mrs. Akshatha Bangera, Gram Panchayath Member Thalapady Inaugurated the program. On this occasion the department organized awareness program on the theme: “Remember Me”. The awareness program began at 2.30 p.m welcome note by Mr. Sukesh, Lecturer Department of Mental Health Nursing and he also explained the significance of the day. The students of 3rd year B. Sc (N) enacted role play on symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. There were around 50 people from the village benefited from the program.
