As part of Children’s day Celebration-2016 the Department of Child Health Nursing has conducted a Health awareness programme among the Eighteen girls of Aided Stella Maris Children’s Home, Beeri on 12 November 2016. Role Play on the importance of personal hygiene was performed followed by which Health Education on personal hygiene, oral hygiene and environmental hygiene was done. The programme was conducted by 10, III BSc N and 8 GNM students.
Eighteen girls benefited from this programme. Followed by the health awareness programme games for the children and entertainment events like singing and dancing were performed by the students of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences. Gifts were handed over to the in-charge sister. Sweets were distributed at the end of the program.
