Awareness on cervical cancer - NUINS

As a part of Extension activity OBG nursing department of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences organized an outreach program on Awareness of CA Cervix at Balakrishna Mandir Kumpala.The programme was initiated with lamp lighting, welcome note and brief introduction about the Resource Person Prof Philomena Fernandes by Mr Praveen Kumpala programme coordinator. Then the session was carried out by highlighting on prevention aspects of cervical cancer and main focus was on identifying the early signs and symptoms. At the end of the session the audience were encouraged to have an interaction with the resource person. The queries raised by the participants were cleared .The programme was concluded by a note of gratitude by Mrs Jayalakshmi.
