Bone Marrow Awareness and Donor Registration program was held on 18th November 2016 at Lecture Hall 5, KSHEMA conducted by NSS KSHEMA in collaboration with BMCDT – Infosys Bone Marrow Registry. Inauguration ceremony presided by Dr. K.M Srinivasa Gowda, Chairman, BMCDT. Prof. (Dr) Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Dean, KSHEMA, Prof. (Dr.) U.S. Krishna Nayak, Dean, A.B Shetty Dental College, Dr. Jayaprakash Shetty, Registrar, Dr. Shivakumar Hiremath, Medical Superintendent, K.S Hegde Hospital and Dr. Sumalatha R. Shetty, NSS Co-ordinator, Nitte university were the dignitaries on the dias. Total 636 volunteer donors had registered for Bone Marrow transplant on 18th November 2016.
