The Department of Periodontics in Association with the Interns Academic Club conducted a CDE Programme on the “Importance of Oral Hygiene in Dental Health related to Periodontics” on 21/11/2016. The Resource person for the programme was Dr.Ajay Kakar Senior consultant Periodontist and Implantologist from Mumbai.
The Attendees for the programme were 4th BDS Students, Interns and Postgraduate Students from the speciality of Periodontics. The inauguration of the Programme was conducted on 21/11/2016 at 2.00PM. Dr.U.S.Krishna Nayak, Dean and Dr.N. Sridhar Shetty, Director CADSS were the guests of honour. The inauguration was followed by the lecture and interactive session. Dr.Ajay Kakar explained with illustrations and videos on the importance of a good oral hygiene. The programme was sponsored by Oral B and Bite in Dental Portal Mumbai. Certificate of participation and tooth brushes were provided to all the delegates.
