Department of ENT, K S Hegde Medical Academy has organised “National ENT update & KSHEMA OSCE workshop 2017” on 28th and 29th JANUARY 2017 at K.S.Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore.
Prof. Dr. M S Moodithaya, Registrar of Nitte University inaugurated the function. The function was presided by Dr. Sathish Kumar Bhandary, Dean of KSHEMA. Sister Helen D Souza, Dr Sabina D Souza who have been working in the department ever since the department started, were felicitated as a token of their service to the Nitte university for more than 25 years. .
On 28.01.2017 - Quick review of exam oriented topics were done by renowned eminent teachers. Dr. R G Aiyer, Professor & HOD from Govt. Medical College Baroda, Dr. Azeem Mohiyuddin, Professor & HOD, Sri Devraj Urs Medical College Kolar and Dr. Muralidharan Nampoothiri, Professor and HOD, Govt. Medical College Calicut and Dr Prahlad N B from Chitradurga, Dr Jayakumar Menon from Trivandrum, Dr Balakrishnan, prof. & HOD, Dept. of ENT, KMC Manipal, Dr P U Prakash Saxena from KMC, Mangalore, Dr Rajesh - Pulmonary medicine, Dr Vijith Shetty – Medical Oncology, Dr Usha Shasthri – Speech and hearing were the guest faculties.
On 29.01.2017 - OSCE workshop was conducted for post graduates and DNB students. More than 100 post graduate students from various part of India attended this workshop.
