The distribution of Mulki Ramakrishna Punja Endowment Scholarship and other various scholarship sponsored by donors Late I. Ananda Rao, Dr. B.H. Raghava Rao, Geetha Venkataramana , Dr. Yaji H. Divakar Bhat and Sri Yogish Poojary are distributed on 16th June 2014 here at M.R.Punja I.T.I, Tapovana, Thokur.
Chief Guest Young & Energetic Businessmen Sri A. Aditya Punja , Punja & Co., Mangalore & Mulki in his address gave useful and valuable tips to the students “ do’s” and “ don’t do’s “ . The amount of scholarship does not count but the intension behind that must be considered and it is the inspiration to other students to perform still better . respecting the parents, teachers and elders is more important during on one’s student life.
Principal Sri Y.N.Salain, presided over the function and expressed his pleasure for the whole hearted support by the donors. He called on the students to come up with enthusiasm and maintain the reputation of the institution
Dr. Yaji H. Divakar Bhat distributed Scholarship sponsored by him in the name of his parents and gave some valuable tips to the youngsters.
Sri Yogish Poojary an Ex-Student of the college gave away scholarship in his parents name and blessed the student. The prizes of annual volleyball interclass tournament and Scholarship sponsored by various government dept were also distributed. Mr. Raghuram Rao , Training Officer and B. Sanjeeva Devadiga Rtd. Office Superintendent were present in the occasion.
Junior Training officer Vishwanath Rao delivered introductory address. The programme is compered by Laxmikanth, Miss Anjali Gadiyar & Miss Nikhitha recited prayer, Office Superintendent Sri Udaya Kumar rendered Vote of thanks.
