About College Innovators New education enabling is happening for the first time in India. Everything is getting ready to bring a revolutionary change in the education industry. College Innovators now been enabled at NMAM Institute Of Technology.Brand new center to educate and inspire college students to free-themselves from "College Loan Slavery "by building tangible skills, magnetic profile and desired income when they are in college. It’s been a great problem today that there are so many Engineers in India, there must be enough demand to pull them in. But it is not there. The earlier mass recruiting sector was manufacturing. It used to recruit from the core branches like Civil, Electrical and Mechanical. But, Manufacturing is stagnant at just 17% of the GDP. So the core branch placements have become very difficult.
The new mass recruiter is the IT sector. It grew from scratch to almost 5% of the GDP in 25 yrs. IT employed millions of engineers.
Now, IT is also coming to saturation....Only good Skilled IT Engineers are in demand..
If you look at the sectoral composition of Indian economy, most of the sector does not need engineers. Tourism is 10% of the GDP, does not require engineers. Financial sector, Trade, Hotels and Restaurants do not require engineers. Requirement in Health, Agriculture is almost negligible.
More than 50% of the GDP has no role for Engineers. Still most of us are becoming Engineers. The current situation is not sustainable.
So the demand is less while the supply is high. Over and above this, skill level of an average engineer is poor. I say its non-existent. Leave the top 100–200 colleges. And you will find that a fresh engineer has no idea of what s/he has studied. Ask a fresh mechanical engineer, can s/he design a simple frame?
Today the situation is that most engineers are working in a field that has no connection to what they have studied in the college. This is a waste of resources.
Engineering degree does not come cheap. It costs about 10-15 lakhs. For poor parents, its a huge burden. When their son is not able to secure a job, they are devastated.
If students borrow money from bank it’scalled bank loan and if they borrow it from parents it’s called parental loan .Most of the students have a desire to give a better lifestyle to their parents than what their parents have given it to them but the unfortunate thing is they cannot even return back the money they received from their parents for their whole education. On an average every parent in India invests about 10 -15 lakhs on their son/daughter education. After completing their UG course average package is 3-4 Lakh per Annam .In that even if they save about Lakh a year they have to work for about 10 to 15 years under someone to clear their bank/parental loan. What one word gets into your head when a person is working under someone to clear his/her bank loan or parental loan for 10-15 years which is till the age of 35 to 40.Don’t you call this as a form of slavery which is happening all across the country
For the nation, you can calculate the loss. Leave around 1 lakh engineers that NASSCOM says are employable. The rest 14 lakhs have each wasted 10 lakhs of fees. That totals to around $ 20 Billion. Almost equal to the Government’s spending on healthcare. Over this, there is loss of human capital
We take this problem very seriously and take this as mission to educate and inspire college students tofree-themselves from "College Loan Slavery "by building tangible skills, magnetic profile and desired income when they are in college.
1. Tangible Skills Building System When we say skill it’s not just about training or workshop .It’s about building and creating some tangible result for each skill. Knowledge->Action->Result->Improve->Repeat this process to builds the tangible which means visible skill. But in the current education we stop at knowledge and never take any further action which means no implementation of the knowledge Knowledge->Action->Result->Improve->Repeat which happens as a day to day activity
1. Personal Skill How do you know that a person has a better communication or leadership skill? When person implements it and shows some tangible result by conducting workshop or hosting YouTube channel or by creating a course in Udemyetc
2. Professional Skill How do you know that a person has a better technical skill? You simply cannot measure it by grade points or marks card You can measure it only by seeing practical projects undertaken by him Its majorly done in the college to build the ecosystem for startups and make in india projects
2. Magnetic Profile Building System It is a system which builds the value of the resume which means it’s the factor which determines the kind of package he/she gets .Higher package more faster he/she can free themselves from college loan slavery
3. Desired Result/Income Building System If you consider any system you can see Input ->Process->Output Similarly in order make money or get result as an outcome there should be Input and Process skill Input skill might be both personal and professional skills #1 skill that everyone should build and what most of the leaders have is process skill. Who do you consider as a current generation leader in India? Everyone answer is almost the same its Narendra Modi why? Because of his process skill ie sales Ability sell your ideas to people makes you leader and its #1 skill that should be thought in the education system to create more leaders Who Invented the bulb ?Its Thomas Alva Edison .Even after multiple failures in inventing the bulb but If he didn’t have the process skill of communicating his idea to the world Invention of bulb would have join the list failed experiments You decode any great legends patterns who came this planet they all have a single and most common skill is sales 4 methods by which students make money or get result when they are in college

4. SS-(Selling system) Eg: Starting or owning a franchise system As students move down from first level to fourth level they make more and more money when they are in college.
