The Department of Community Medicine organized a Health Camp / Outreach Program, "Health Chekup" on 06-10-2017 .A visit to old age home in Farangipete, it was co-ordinated by Dr Pavan K, Assistant professor, supported by Dr G Rakesh Maiya, Post Graduate, Dr Sanjana Shetty, Intern and Mr Ravi K, MSW. Around 20 inmates who had complaints were checked, blood sugar levels and blood pressure were measured and necessary advice were given and they were instructed to follow them accordingly. Necessary counselling was done to all the inmates and they were encouraged to ask if they had any doubts. Few inmates were referred to K. S. Hegde Charitable Hospital for higher treatment.
