On the Occasion of 155th Birthday of Swami Vivekananda, on 12th of January, 2018 a blood donation camp was organized by National Service Scheme, Red cross unit, AIMS in association with Nitte Gajria hospital, KSHEMA Deralakatte, Wenlock Hospital, Udupi District hospital between 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM at NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte.
The Camp was inaugurated by Dr.Niranjan N Chiplunkar, Principal NMAMIT in the presence of Prof.Yogeesh Hegde, Registrar Nitte, Dr.Ramesh Mithantaya, Vice Principal, Dr.Sharath from Wenlock hospital, Dr.Veena from Udupi district hospital, Mr. Naresh Rai, administrator at Nitte Gajria, Dr.Janardhan Nayak, Coordinator NSS Unit, Dr.Mahadeve Gowda coordinator Redcross Unit, Mr.Venkatesh Murthy AIMS Coordinator. 349 units of blood were collected during this blood donation camp.
