With the generous donation of laboratory equipments by Arogyadhama Trust, the Sadananda Health Center, Subramanya has been able to upgrade its laboratory services.
The lab services at the Center was inaugurated on 3rd March, 2018 by Sri. Sri. Sri. Vidya Prasanna Theertha Swamiji of Subramanya Mutt. In his inaugural address, Swamiji blessed the University & the Center and mentioned that the Dept. of Community Medicine, KSHEMA has been providing considerable health care services to the people of Subramanya and hoped that the relationship would grow stronger and result in providing better health care to the people of the region.
Sri. Vinaya Hegde, Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed-to-be University) presided over the function and assured to provide better services to the society. He requested the people of Subramanya to maintain goodwill and render continued support to the Center. The President of Arogyadhama Trust, Sri. Jayaprakash Koojagodu welcomed the gathering and the Secretary, Dinesh Athyadi who spoke on the occasion requested the support of KSHEMA to establish a 20 bed hospital. Sri Nithyananda Mundodi, President, K.S.S Temple Trust said that the Trust would support the cause of health care by providing an ambulance.
Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice-Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed-to-be University) briefed the gathering about the services provided at the Center and plans of expansion, with the support and co-operation of the people of Subramanya. Dr. B.K. Bhat, Medical Officer of the Center was honoured for completing 25 years of service and his immense contribution in establishing the Center. The Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. P.S Prakash, Dean, KSHEMA
