The Nitte Centre for Stem Cell Research & Regenerative Medicine has had a Technology Transfer in “Cell Technology for Cartilage and Bone Regeneration” with the Shetty - Kim Research Foundation (SKRF), United Kingdom. This technology will help in reducing some of the human sufferings through regenerative orthopedics.
In a recently held ceremony, Prof. (Dr.) A Ananthram Shetty, Director of the Shetty-Kim Research Foundation (SKRF), Chair of Orthopedics & Director of Research, Canterbury Christ Church University, Kent, United Kingdom transferred this innovative technology to Sri. N. Vinaya Hegde,Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru.
Prof. (Dr.) M. Shantharam Shetty, Pro-Chancellor, Nitte (DU); Prof. (Dr.) B. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice-Chancellor, Nitte (DU); (Dr.) K. Jayaprakash Shetty, Vice-Dean, KSHEMA; Dr. A. Veena Shetty, Additional Professor & Research Co-ordinator and Dr. B. Mohana Kumar, Assoc. Professor were also present on this occasion.
