Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy organised a Frontier Lecture on “SCIENCE AND SPIRITUALITY” on 28th September, 2018 at the K.S. Hegde auditorium at 2pm.
Prof. Dr. Dhanesh Kumar K.U, Principal, Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest, Dr. B. Rajendra Prasad, Director of Postgraduate Studies, ABSMIDS, delivered an inspiring speech commemorating the changing facets of science and spirituality in today’s world.
The resource person for the event, Shri Nama Nishtha Das, Manager, ISKCON, Mangaluru overwhelmed the audience with his knowledge, charm & wit and spoke at length on all aspects of science and spirituality. Talking about the advances in these fields, he brought to light, the point of collaboration of both these seemingly contradictory areas. By the end of the lecture, the audience were enlightened and had a new perspective of looking at the world.
The Vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Aishwarya Nair, Assistant Professor, NIPT & Convenor of the event. Ms. Jumana Bhagat, 2nd BPT student coordinated the program as Master of Ceremony. Dr. Purushotham Chippala, Associate Professor, NIPT presided over the function. The event concluded at 4:30 pm
