Physiotherapy Camp - NIPT

The faculty and interns of Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy participated in a Physiotherapy Camp organized by Bethany Jeevan Jyothi special school & Karnataka Integrated Development Society (KIDS) at Mardala on 15-10-2018. The Camp & the Physiotherapy Clinic at Bethany Jeevan Jyothi special school was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Varghese Kaipanadka, OIC, Director, Bethany Educational institutions who stressed on the importance of extending the advanced medical facilities to the rural population. Rev. Fr. John Kunnateth, Director, KIDS spoke on the integration of special children into the mainstream society. Prof. Dr. Dhanesh Kumar K.U., Principal, Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy spoke on the necessity of spreading awareness of physiotherapy in rural areas. There were a total of 70 patients who benefited from the free physiotherapy camp. Dr. Dhanesh Kumar K.U., Dr. Purusotham Chippala, Mrs. Suchetha P.S., Mr. Subhashchandra Rai & Mr. Nikhil N.P and six interns actively took part in the Camp.
