The NSS unit of NitteDU conducted a program on 29th September, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Chaitanya Hall, Justice K S Hegde Hospital, Deralakatte to commemorate the Surgical Strike.
Brigadier I N Rai addressed the NSS volunteers and staff of NitteDU on this occasion. He explained to the audience, the planning and preparation involved for the precise execution of the strike. Registrar, Dr Alka Kulkarni presided over the function. Dr. Sumalatha Shetty, NSS Coordinator, NitteDU introduced the Chief guest and Mr. Shashikumar Shetty delivered the Vote of thanks. Ms. Nikita Manvi was the MC on this occasion. Other dignitaries included Dr. Shivakumar Hiremath, Medical Superintendent; Dr. PS Prakash, Dean, KSHEMA; Dr. Mirajkar and Dr. JP Shetty, Vice Dean, KSHEMA and Dr. Indrani Karunasagar, Director (R&D), NitteDU.
