The Placement & Career Guidance Cell of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences organized a guest lecture, “Career Planning and Global Scope for Nursing Professionals” for the III year B.Sc (Nursing) students on 31-10-2018 at the Advanced Learning Centre, NUINS. Mr. Gilbert Nelson Martis, CEO & Director - Health Skill Training Ltd, UK addressed the students. The speaker emphasized on the importance for students to acquire and develop an all-round personality with excellent communication skills, assertiveness and time management for an accomplishing and satisfying career, either national or global. He also dealt in detail about the requirement, eligibility and application procedure to pursue a career in NMC & NHS, United Kingdom. 90 students of III year B.Sc (N) & 4 faculty members attended the session. The Principal, Dr. Fatima D’ Silva welcomed the speaker and Ms. Gincy Joseph delivered the Vote of thanks.
