Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated on 1st November, 2018 with great pomp and gaiety. Mr. Prasanna, Principal of Govt. P U College, Haleangadi was the chief guest. He spoke on the supremacy of English language over Kannada and advised students to give equal importance to Kannada. Prizes were distributed to the winners of essay writing and poetry competitions, held on account of Kannada Rajyotsava. Kannada literary books were displayed and a quiz was conducted to enlighten the children with Kannada authors and poets.
