World Aids day - NUINS

Department of Community Health Nursing and the NSS unit of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences organized World AIDS Day on 3rd December 2018 at Justice KS Hegde Charitable Hospital. The staff, students and NSS volunteers actively participated in a walkathon which was organized from Deralakatte Junction to Justice KS Hegde Charitable Hospital. A role play and health awareness talk on HIV-AIDS was organized in the hospital OPD and an inter-college, “Collage” competition was also organized on the theme “Know your status”. Ms. Janvi and Ms. Jis of Nursing college won the first prize and the second prize was bagged by Mr. Suraj and Mr. Vishwas Acharya of Nitte Institute of Architecture.
